What is the Collegiate Challenge?

We’ve shifted from an annual play-off between the top two Universities in each game title to a structure that rewards consistent performance in the Premier Division throughout the entire academic year, building a transparent national ranking, and creating a pathway to LAN Finals that feels closer to professional esports competition while staying true to university sport structure.

How do the Universities and Colleges earn points?

We’ve created a scoring structure for the 2025/26 Premier Division, used to determine national rankings across all four titles — Rocket League, Valorant, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike 2.

Each team earns points based on their performance in both the Winter and Spring semesters, these points are used to determine who secures a place in the National Semi-Finals and LAN National Finals.

How do teams qualify for the Semi and National Finals?

• The Top 4 teams in the combined leaderboard per title qualify for the National Semi-Finals.

• Match-ups are seeded: 1st plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd.

• Winners of those matches progress to the LAN National Finals.
