GG Machines Launches Internship Program to Bridge the Gap from University to Careers in Tech Retail
Hands on experience - building hardware, technical support, event activations

Dublin, Ireland – GG Machines, Ireland’s leading gaming hardware retailer and esports sponsor, is launching an internship program designed to help students and recent graduates gain essential work experience needed to secure jobs in the tech retail sector.
With the rapid growth of the gaming and technology industry, university training provides valuable foundational knowledge, but many graduates face a gap between academic learning and the hands-on experience employers seek. GG Machines’ internship program aims to bridge this gap by providing real-world industry exposure, equipping participants with practical skills directly relevant to careers in gaming hardware and tech retail.
Interns will have the opportunity to develop expertise in key areas such as:
🖥️ Building and configuring gaming hardware products
🔧 Technical support services and troubleshooting
🛠️ Understanding gaming peripherals and retail logistics
📢 Supporting esports and gaming event activations
“We know that breaking into the gaming and tech industry can be challenging without real-world experience. That’s why we’re committed to helping students build the skills and confidence they need to move from education into employment,” said GG Machines Founder & CEO Robert Nagy.
The internship program will run throughout the year, with flexible opportunities for students and graduates to get hands-on experience in a live environment, working alongside industry professionals and gaining insights into the gaming hardware and esports retail ecosystem.
