TUD Apes
Holders of the All-Ireland title from 2022/23, TUD have amassed an impressive number of players to compete in each of the titles we offer students to play in. Their innovation continues as hosts of the Collegiate Challenge.
SETU Esports
Their exploits in Rocket League have meant team across the other titles have been able to work away under the radar. Ending the 23/24 Series in 2nd place SETU face TUD in the battle for the All-Ireland title.
Queens Esports
There's big things happening at QUB and it all started with the reveal of their new Gaming Cafe. After coming close 3rd in the Collegiate Challenge Queens are one to watch out for in the 2024/25 Series.
UCD Leviathans
They're one of the bigger ones in the series having formed 13 teams in the 22/23 Series and increasing on that for last academic year. The UCD Game Society are only just getting started.
TCD Esports
New Esports Society approved in 2024, the Ducks finished the Collegiate Challenge in 5th place for 2023/24 with teams competing in League, CS2, Valorant, Rocket League and F1.
MTU Wrath
MTU are a dark horse. Unpredictable but when they're on form you want to look out. They're strong across League of Legends, Valorant and Rocket League - they also took the inaugural EA FC24 title in Spring 23/24.
UL Esports
With one of the bigger memberships amongst the participating ROI Universities, UL have a good base to build on. One of the few who are looking for a Student Rep to pick up where the last one left off.
Netsoc Rebels
Straight out of Cork, the Rebels have been strong contenders across the core four titles having teams in each of Valorant, Rocket League, League of Legends and CS2. Let's see if they can find talent to add Formula 1 and EA FC to that list.
MU Esports
In 23/24 MU finished a respectable 9th in the Collegiate Challenge thanks to some solid results from their Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant teams. With a new intake of Fresher's looming the opportunity could be there to expand.
Ulster Unicorns
Ulster's Esports Society is established with a base of +360 members. Their consistency has been their strength over the past two academic years. Ever present in CS2, Valorant, League of Legends and Rocket League.
TUS Dragons
The Dragons are another University on the lookout for a new Student Rep. They finished 23/24 on a high after seeing an increase in player numbers.
NUIG Griffins
There's a hidden gem here. University of Galway deserves to have a shot at the 24/25 Series. It only takes one person with leadership skills to lead the way (and we'll help too).
NCI Panthers
Right in the heart of Dublin, NCI are only a stones throw away from Dogpatch Labs - where the Winter & Spring Semester Finals take place. We can't wait to see them roll up and claim their place at a finals weekend soon!
DCU Esports
We think DCU are a sleeping giant. Although they weren't in contention for the Collegiate Challenge this last series, including their DCU Games Society, there's a healthy membership to build on.
DKIT Ravens
DkIT have a great opportunity to build with the right Student Rep and some support from the Ireland Collegiate team. We're eager to hear from anyone interested in picking up the reigns.
Belfast Met Esports
Belfast Met are extremely active building their presence in esports. In addition to having a partnership with Wylde, they're also closely connected into Ireland Esports. Looking forward to the 24/25 Series, it would be great to see them step back into the fray.
